INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Everyone deserves to feel supported and guided throughout their life. It is my honor to step into that role as a therapist for teens and women who often feel misunderstood and overwhelmed. Together we create a space filled with vulnerability, uncovering patterns, and creating change that lasts. Whether you are looking for a space to explore childhood messages, process trauma, or learn how to navigate daily life – you are welcome here!
Your 20s and 30s + are a rollercoaster of growth. Balancing work, friends, love, and aspirations – how do you do it all? How do you prioritize when everything is equally important? You’re expected to do it all but you feel like you are barely staying above water. You’re so busy building your career, that sometimes a social life or self-care seems out of reach – or maybe it’s the other way around – maybe your social life is great but you dread going to work everyday. Finding yourself is a lifelong journey and it helps to have someone in your corner. Together we can explore what success means to you and what you need to live YOUR definition of a fulfilled life.
You’ve been told throughout your whole life that you are “too sensitive”. Maybe you’ve come to see this as a weakness or maybe you’ve come to see it for what it truly is – a strength. Living as a highly sensitive person means you feel deeply and sometimes that can be overwhelming. Together, we will discover coping tools, acceptance, and self-compassion for the moments that feel like “too much”. Being sensitive isn’t a flaw, it’s a door to deeper vulnerability and connection.
You’re a teenager trying to figure out who you are in this chaotic world. The lyrics of “Brutal” resonate and you know that you need better coping tools to navigate adolescence. Maybe you’re the “caretaker” – always looking out for everyone else, but not being seen. Maybe you’re the “outsider” – often feeling different and struggling to find a place where you can be your true self. Maybe you’re a dreamer, uncertain, quiet, or loud – whoever you are, whoever you will become – I’m here to support you on your journey of self-discovery.

Teletherapy
All sessions are conducted via video or phone on a secure HIPAA-compliant platform (Simple Practice). Online therapy sessions are available to residents located anywhere in the state of California (Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, etc.). Virtual appointments help therapy become more accessible and convenient for those with a busy lifestyle, stay-at-home parents, homebodies, chronic illness warriors, and/or those who prefer to have sessions in the comfort of their own home.
Frequently Asked Questions
I believe everyone can benefit from the healing and awareness that therapy provides. Each individual is unique and seeks therapy for different reasons. Therapy is becoming a norm among newer generations who are changing the stigma of therapy to a service that is seen as necessary for a balanced life. Individuals may seek therapy to process past traumas or learn new coping skills for daily stressors. Whether you are struggling with adjusting to life transitions, feeling overwhelmed with emotions, or looking to discover more about yourself – therapy can help support you.
I understand that sometimes it can be difficult to find a therapist who is the right fit and has availability. I also understand how difficult it can be to find the time to balance therapy, school, work, and commuting. Online therapy allows you to choose a therapist located anywhere in the state of CA and have sessions from the comfort of your own home! In my experience as an online therapist, I’ve noticed what we learn in sessions is applied more effectively in my clients’ lives due to already being immersed in your personal environment.
The relationship between therapist and client is of the upmost importance in the therapeutic process. It is important that you feel cared for, listened to, and understood. A good relationship – including the relationship between therapist and client – includes honesty and communication. With my clients, I encourage you to speak up if you are upset by something I said or feel that your treatment is not going in your preferred direction. I am open to listening to these concerns, as therapy is a collaborative process.
I offer HIPAA-compliant teletherapy (online) sessions for individuals who reside in the State of California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco, etc.)
After scheduling your first appointment, you will receive intake paperwork via the HIPAA-compliant platform (Simple Practice). It is important that you complete this paperwork before session, so we can use our time together to explore your main concerns.
The first session is focused on getting to know you and your goals for therapy. This is an important step in the process because each individual is unique. Learning more about your history and concerns allows for a tailored treatment plan.
Initial 15-minute phone consultations are complimentary. Individual therapy sessions are $200 for a 45-minute session.
I am able to offer a sliding scale fee for individuals experiencing financial hardship, on a limited and case-by-case basis.
I uphold a 48-hour cancellation policy. Clients must cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 48-hours in advance or they will be responsible for paying the full session fee.
I am an “out-of-network” provider, meaning I do not take insurance directly. I am able to provide you with a Superbill at the end of each month if requested. You are responsible for submitting the Superbill to your insurance company in order to receive reimbursement if they approve your claim. You will be responsible for paying the full session fee at each scheduled appointment.
I recommend checking with your insurance company prior to starting therapy to find out what coverage you have for therapy services with an out-of-network provider.
Sometimes it can be confusing to understand the difference between services covered by insurance and self-pay services. There are many reasons why people prefer self-pay therapy services. A few reasons are:
- Most insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis within the first few sessions to meet criteria for insurance coverage.
- This information becomes a part of your permanent health record, which can impact qualifications for life insurance and security screenings for employment.
- Insurance companies decide how many sessions you are allowed per year. This can be difficult for individuals who want to see a therapist more frequently.
- Therapy is a collaborative and private relationship between the therapist and client. Self-pay allows you to take your mental health into your own hands, without insurance deciding the “necessity” of treatment.
